Self-Compassion: Its Importance for Healing Ourselves and the World
We all make mistakes, right? And one might even argue that making mistakes is one of the best ways for us to learn and grow.
But, for some reason, most of us still tend to battle with the inner critic who just loves to shame and judge when we mess up or fall short in some way.
It all comes down to this – we deserve to show ourselves the same kindness we would show a child or loved one facing a challenge, AND it's through the practice of being more compassionate toward ourselves that healing within our lives and the world can take place.
In today's episode, we share our thoughts on:
- Why self-compassion is the KEY to healing.
- The power of viewing others through a lens of compassion.
- Learning to love all parts of ourselves.
- The role our conditioning and nervous system play when it comes to the stories we tell ourselves.
